In her spiritual classic The Interior Castle, St. Teresa of Jesus (Avila) describes the path to union with God through the imagery of seven dwelling places. God IS in the center and seventh dwelling place of the castle. In prayer, we shall let St. Teresa teach us the reasons why so many persons remain stuck in the third dwelling places, and some effective remedies to get unstuck so as to move further on the path to deeper union with God.
